About Us

The Polish Genealogical Society (PGS-MN) is a branch of the Minnesota Genealogical Society. For over 30 years, we have been assisting Polish-Americans explore their genealogy roots in Minnesota. Whether your relatives immigrated to the Iron Range, the north shore, the farm communities of the west, the southern Mississippi river bluff country, or the urban areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, we have people and resources to help you search for those Minnesota and Poland connections.

Our society assists those interested in exploring their Polish ancestry, culture, language and history. We offer research and library resources as well as meetings and events at the Minnesota Genealogy Center in Mendota Heights. A Members Only password is sent to all PGS-MN members each February, which provides access to exclusive information for you to explore as a PGS-MN member.

Contact us at pgsminnesota@gmail.com if you would like more information or if you would like to volunteer.
