Benefits of Membership

Each member receives a subscription to our quarterly newsletter which provides a wealth of information for those researching Polish ancestral lines. Newsletters are mailed to each member’s residence in January, April, July, and October.

Meetings and Events

We are a friendly, membership society and always welcome new members and their guests to our meetings and events.

The first meeting of the year is the Annual Membership Meeting held in January. This meeting is a big event held at a local restaurant and it’s the meeting where the Society’s officers are elected. Other member meetings are generally held the first Saturday of the month in February, March, April, May, September, October, and November. While meetings take a break during the summer months, members are encouraged to attend and volunteer at the Twin Cities Polish Festival in August.

Free access to the Minnesota Genealogical Society library located in South St. Paul. While the library has collections for researchers of many ethnic groups, PGS-MN has an extensive, non-circulating map and book collection in the Polish section of the library, including all the records from the traditionally Polish parishes of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Non-members fee for library use is $10 at each visit so an annual membership to PGS-MN is a bargain if you plan to use the library. Internet and WiFi are available in the library.

We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
